I just listened to the latest podcast by Wayne Jacobsen and Brad Cummings about the very same thing! The Lord is really doing an amazing work in my own life and peeling away the layers of years of religious obligation and just messed up thinking! How can we truly love people when the first thing we do with them is categorize them, smack a label on their head, and put them in a box for our own comfort. And then you have the "like mindedness" that we get wrapped up into also. If I don't agree with you on every belief then I move on to someone else... How can I even do that to people when the Lord is changing me and what I believe today may be different a week or month or year from now? We are not to even judge ourselves or others because what is that even based on? Our own personal measuring stick we walk around with which is totally based on a religious mindset.
