A man from Norfolk , VA called a local radio station to share this on Sept 11th, 2003, TWO YEARS AFTER THE TRAGEDIES OF 9/11/2001. His name was Robert Matthews… These are his words: A few weeks before Sept. 11th, my wife and I found out we were going to have our first child. She planned a trip out to California to visit her sister. On our way to the airport, we prayed that God would grant my wife a safe trip and be with her. Shortly after I said ‘amen,’ we both heard a loud pop and the car shook violently. We had blown out a tire. I replaced the tire as quickly as I could, but we still missed her flight. Both very upset, we drove home. Read the rest of this entry »

A little girl walked to and from school daily. Though the weather that morning was questionable and clouds were forming, she made her daily trek to the elementary school.
As the afternoon progressed, the winds whipped up, along with lightning. The mother of the little girl felt concerned that her daughter would be frightened as she walked home from school and she feared the electrical storm might harm her child.
Full of concern, the mother quickly got into her car and drove along the route to her child’s school. As she did, she saw her little girl walking along. At each flash of lightning, the child would stop, look up, and smile. Another and another flash of lighting followed quickly and with each, the little girl would look at the streak of light and smile.
When the mother’s car drew up beside the child, she lowered the window and called to her ‘What are you doing?
The child answered, ‘I am trying to look pretty because God keeps taking my picture.’
May God bless you today and everyday as you face the storms that come your way. ~Author Unknown -

The greatest privilege we have is to host the presence of God. This is something that we must learn…to be a person that God will rest upon. He is in all of us by covenant; He will never leave us. But He does not rest upon all of us. It says of Jesus that the Spirit came upon Him in the form of a dove “and remained.” He is in me for my sake, but He is upon me for yours. When the Lord rests upon a person, there is an atmospheric change that takes place wherever that person goes.

Idolatry
Comments Off03 Aug 2009 / ArticlesIdolatry ~ By Roger Taylor
When I think of idolatry my first thought is the story in I Samuel 5 when the Philistines had captured the Ark of God and they took it into their temple and put it beside their idol, Dagon. If you remember the story, the next morning when they entered their temple, Dagon was on the floor on his face. They put Dagon back in his place. The next morning Dagon was again on the floor but this time he was broken in pieces! I love it! Obviously, our God has a problem with man’s idols!

Kingdom Age Giving and Receiving
Comments Off03 Aug 2009 / ArticlesKingdom Age Giving and Receiving ~ By Ron McGatlin
Praise God! Seek Him and His kingdom with all your heart. Great authority in the Spirit is coming forth to those who truly love Him and are called according to His great purposes. The whole earth trembles before Him. His army is arising and will leave the charred land of the fallen world to enter the fresh new fruitful garden of the kingdom of God on earth as it is in heaven (Joel 2:3).
