It is important to realize that God does not count success as we count success. In our culture today, we are bombarded by things that the world calls success. We often term success by an individual’s wealth, by the kind of vehicle they drive, by the neighborhood they live in, by the labels of the clothes they wear, by the country club they belong to, by the company they work for, or by the number of friends they have. Across the world spiritual eyes are opening as religious scales are falling off and the kingdom of God is beginning to be clearly seen by many for the first time. A fresh surging flow of God’s pure love is releasing forgiveness, purity, and true holiness, consuming religious strife and debate and opening the door for pure wisdom from above enlightening our souls and driving our inner motives of life.

Recently professional golfing legend Lee Trevino was asked what is the greatest lesson he’s tried to pass on to his children. I loved his answer.

“One thing I’ve told them is that your word is your bond. That once you’ve lost your word, you’ve lost all your dignity. So when you tell someone that you’re going to do something, you do it.
